Quelot RE16 α-SPEC Gold Driver A New Performance and Distance Standard
Introducing the all new 2016 Quelot RE16 α-SPEC Premium Limited Driver, a non conforming 550cc large ultra rebound head. The Premium Limited surpasses the rules in both size and spring effect creating the longest driver ever in the Quelot line.
With the larger head also comes a larger sweet spot and increased rebound performance. The added forgiveness reduces distance lost on miss hits and helps maintain direction.
The Premium Limited is available only in limited numbers and designed to put a smile on your face after each long and straight drive.
Unmatched Rebound Performance
Compared to standard 460cc heads, the larger 550cc head brings an even larger sweet spot with dual high speed areas for even more forgiveness and even more distance even on off center hits.
Among all Quelot drivers, the RE16 Premium Limited has the highest rebound performance ever.
Inset hosel
Because the Premium Limited utilizes a larger 550cc head, we have implemented an inset hosel rather than a standard driver hosel. This keeps the CG length to a manageable distance and allows the larger head to rotate and strike the ball with stability and consistency.
Lighter and thinner crown and sole
With the head becoming larger at 550cc, in order to keep the weight down and maintain its lightweight advantage, we used an ultra thin high rebound crown and sole.
Luxury Finished Premium Model
The finishing of the head was carefully chosen for the limited Quelot model and features iridescent paint as well as purple PVD on the sole and face. A special emblem was designed to give the driver an even more luxurious image.
Swing Weight Adjust System
The Quelot RE16 a-Spec Premium Limited can take advantage of Geotech’s SWA System (Swing Weight Adjust System) which allows an extension weight of 1-3g to be placed in the hosel of the driver. This allows club makers to tweak the overall club for length and performance based on each golfer.
