LIGHTER CROWN = BETTER WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION
By utilzing varying thickness in the head, the crown weight is reduced and that weight is allocated to the lower regions of the head to improve launch, lower back spin and create optimal stability.
CUSTOM 455 MARAGING FACE
The Quelot RE14 fairway wood uses a high strength Custom 455 Maraging face. Since maraging steel is more durable and stronger than stainless steel, we are able to create a thinner and hotter face which increases ball speeds at impact.
UNMATCHED MOI
Thanks to the peripheral weight distribution as a result of the lightened crown, the RE14 UT features a very high MOI of 3000gcm2 which more than most utilities (and some Fairway Woods) on the market today. This means a huge sweet spot and very little loss of performance on off center strikes.
DUAL SLIT SOLE DESIGN
The dual slit sole structure on the sole helps improve energy transfer and minimize energy loss on miss hits. The sharper slits also help fine tune the sound which also appeals to mid cappers and better players.
SWING WEIGHT ADJUST SYSTEM
The head takes advantage of Geotech’s SWA System (Swing Weight Adjust System) which allows an extension weight of 1-4g to be placed in the hosel of the driver. This allows club makers to tweak the overall club for length and performance based on each golfer.
