The all new GT Forged I-817 was designed for the player who wants to enjoy the soft feeling of a forged club yet also enjoy ease of use and great stability. Our design focused on shape, and optimal weight distribution to create an easy to use forged iron with great looks and performance.
FOCUS ON HITTING FEELING
In order to enhance the already soft feeling of impact, the sweet spot of the cavity was thickened with a design featuring a two-step structure on the bridge. This creates better feeling even on off center hits.

FOCUS ON WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION
The cavity of the I-817 was designed to not only feel great but with an undercut cavity, the head is able to remove excess weight by pushing weight to the outer areas of the iron, increasing the sweet spot and improving stability, even from the rough.
FOCUS ON THE SOLE
The iron features a flat sole with very little bounce. A rounded leading edge and trailing edge provide relief and versatility in various lies.
